# ERP & Accounting Integrations for Official Exchange Rates

Step-by-step guides for loading central-bank and tax-authority exchange rates into Dynamics 365 Business Central, Xero, QuickBooks Online, SAP and Odoo from the AllRatesToday API.

By [Madhushan](https://allratestoday.com/authors/madhushan/), Founder & Lead Developer

Accounting systems ship with a market-rate feed. That is the wrong number wherever a regulation names the publisher: VAT returns that must use the central bank's reference rate, customs entries at the tax authority's monthly table, statutory accounts closed at the official month-end rate. These guides show how to replace or override the built-in feed with the rate the named institution actually published, pulled from one endpoint that covers [122 central banks](https://allratestoday.com/central-bank-rates-api/) and [4 tax authorities](https://allratestoday.com/tax-authority-rates-api/).

Not a developer? The [finance-team overview](https://allratestoday.com/for-finance-teams/) explains which rate each regulation wants and how the Business plan includes integration support.

## Guides

[**Dynamics 365 Business Central**Point the built-in Currency Exchange Rate Service at the XML feed. ## What every ERP guide has in common

- **One table per bank per publication date.** The response carries the bank's own `rate_date`. Book the rate under that date, not the date you fetched it.
- **Direction is the bank's, unmodified.** The ECB quotes foreign currency per 1 EUR; the Reserve Bank of India quotes INR per 1 USD. Each guide shows which field to invert for that system's convention.
- **Pairs the bank did not print are flagged.** Ask for `source` and `target` and a cross rate through the home currency comes back with `"derived": true` and the `method`. Keep that flag in your audit trail.
- **Weekends and holidays return the rate in force.** The most recent published table, which is what the compliance rules require you to apply.
- **Formats.** JSON by default; `format=xml`, `format=csv` and `format=xlsx` on the same URL. File downloads on the bank pages need a paid plan; the API formats do not.

## Storefronts and spreadsheets

These use live market rates rather than official tables.

[**Shopify**Estimated local prices, a product-page converter, and a nightly market-price sync through the Admin API.](https://allratestoday.com/docs/integrations/shopify/) [**Excel**Power Query from CSV, one-cell FILTERXML formulas, official rates, VBA and Google Sheets.](https://allratestoday.com/blog/excel-exchange-rates/)

## No-code alternatives

If the system you use is not listed, the [Excel and CSV downloads](https://allratestoday.com/blog/download-central-bank-exchange-rates-excel-csv/) give you a dated file per bank for a manual month-end load, the [Google Sheets guide](https://allratestoday.com/blog/best-currency-api-for-google-sheets-2026/) covers spreadsheet-driven workflows, and the [open data repository](https://github.com/AllRates-Today/central-bank-exchange-rates) publishes every bank's table as daily JSON and CSV files with no key at all.
