Bank Central Asia is Indonesia’s largest private bank and its published kurs is the one most widely quoted in the country. The page shows three boards side by side for about 18 currencies: the e-Rate for online transactions, the TT counter rate for branch transfers, and bank notes for cash, with the time of the board in Jakarta time.

Board shown: TT counter. Banks outside the Gulf publish several boards for the same currency — counter notes, drafts, transfers, cards — and this page shows one of them, the same one for every bank in Indonesia so the comparison is like for like. The others are on the bank’s own page.

All values are IDR per 1 unit of the currency. Spread = (sell − buy) ÷ mid. Average spread across the board: 3.06%. Official = Bank Indonesia rate for 2026-11-06.

Keyless, CORS-open, cached 15 minutes at the edge, attribution required. ?date=YYYY-MM-DD returns the card captured on that day, or the nearest earlier day within five days when the bank published none; the response then carries date_requested and snapshot_date. Daily snapshots are kept for about 400 days. Every response carries captured_at, the bank’s own stamp where it prints one, and the disclaimer above.

Is the Bank Central Asia rate the official Indonesia exchange rate?

No. Bank Central Asia sets its own buying and selling rates and changes them through the day. The official rate is published once per business day by the Bank Indonesia; it is shown in the Official column and is the figure accounting, tax and customs rules refer to.

Which Bank Central Asia rate applies when I send money abroad?

The sell rate: you are buying foreign currency from the bank. When you convert foreign currency into IDR, the buy rate applies. Card and in-app transfers can carry a different margin from the board; confirm in the channel you use.

How current is this table?
